Björn Weckström, well known artist and jewellery sculptor, began a partnership with the founder of Lapponia, Pekka Anttila, and right from the start developed Lapponia’s exclusive sculptural designs. Weckström’s aim when sculpting the gold is to depict the snowy Finnish winter landscape with its frozen lakes, hence the unique finish found in Lapponia’s jewellery.
