DETAILS: Vintage from 1991 ("IU" Parker date code). Beautiful pen in lacquered brown Thuya shiny barrel and caps and gold plated trim. Steel gold plated nib, semi-wrapped and semi-hooded, fine tip ("F" marked inside the feeder - see pic). Black plastic grip section with a fine wood grain pattern for a better grip and nicer looks. Plastic black dished jewels on both ends. Stepped on cap. Click-on cap. Long feathered clip. Works with both cartridges and converter. Golden engravings around the cap lip: logo and PARKER - FRANCE - IU. Supplied with two new original Parker cartridge, one blue and one black, as shown. Also supplied is a vintage Parker hard case, black plastic with silver trims and logos and blue velvet tray, as shown. Pen Made in France. All original and authentic. All pictures are of the actual item. CONDITION: Very good overall, very shiny and polished, no flaws ! Pen has two obvious (one medium, one light) oblique and parallel dents in the middle of the barrel. A few wear imperfections on the lacquer finish have been retouched (see last pictures to get an idea). Pena has been thoroughly buffed cap and barrel laque. There are only a few obvious light marks remaining after buffing, and much softened. No obvious scratches or nicks, no dings or scuffs to the cap and barrel. No cracks or repairs. Nib is perfect as new and with complete iridium. No deformations to cap and barrel. Clip and gold trim with no wear or brassing. Clip straight aligned and adjusted to the cap surface. Cap closing smoothly and holding tight both posted and closed, clicking firmly in place. Very crisp engravings. No personal engravings. Perfectly clean. In perfect working order. Case central clip has been repaired as best as possible. Otherwise excellent with insignificant wear and no flaws. Closing nicely and holding firmy closed.
