Hermes Media typewriter. Suitcase typewriter from 1938, very beautiful.
The Hermes Media is a beautiful typewriter with suitcase from 1938. The machine is in a suitcase with iron cover and wooden bottom (the first few years the lids were made of iron, later of wood). The bottom is in bad shape, and should be replaced. The Ribbon is dry. The keys seem to be doing well with the exception of the back key, this is loose on the inside and needs to be restored.
The lacquer and the images are still well in order, see the photos.
The machine is a nice design to see and therefore has a high decorative value.
