Large Jerusalem cross / crusader cross, 925 silver, handmade, Mexico / Taxco. 6.6 cm long
Large cross pendant in 925 silver. On offer is a so-called Jerusalem cross or crusader cross. This consists of a large central cross and a further four small crosses, which fill the gaps. It is an exceptionally beautiful piece antique or vintage piece of work from Mexico, Taxco. With maker's mark and mark of origin.
Hallmark:
Left: 'Mexico Sterling' with a 'V' in the centre
Centre: the eagle for Mexico silver
Right: 925 Taxco
The bail is very large and ideal for a thick chain or leather cord
Inner dimensions of bail: 13 x 6 mm
Weight 16.4 g.
Length 6.6 cm including bail, width 4.8 cm
Very good condition - silver has been intentionally tarnished in places
